Dance Wear

In order for our dancers to get the most out of their classes it is important that they come prepared with the correct dance wear. Please see our dance uniform details below. These items are compulsory for class and examinations. If your dancer is trialing a class or items have not yet arrived please wear comfortable clothing that doesn’t restrict movement. Tights/ shorts and a tee shirt are perfect.

Ballerinas aged 5-7

Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre and Contemporary Uniform

All Grades in Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre and Contemporary wear either the Navy Racer Back or Half Crop and plain black bike shorts or tights. The tops can be ordered through us at NCSD here Dance Wear Order Form.

Please come to Dance class with hair in a ponytail.

Hip Hop Uniform

Hip Hop Dancers wear any comfortable tee, shorts or pants (no denim) and sneakers. Hair needs to be tied out of dancers eyes.

NCSD branded Hoodies and Tee’s and dance wear

We have NCSD tee’s, vests, trackpants, bags and hoodies available for dancers to purchase throughout the year. All dancers are welcome to purchase any of our branded Dance Wear. We find our students feel a great sense of pride wearing their NCSD hoodie’s and tee’s and this gives them a great sense of belonging to our wonderful school. We will let you know when orders for these items are open at various times throughout the year. These are available with logo in either Blue or Pink.

Extend Peformance Team Jacket

Our competition dancers have a team jacket that is worn to represent NCSD at events and performances. This is a compulsory item for our Extend Performance Team Dancers and can either be hired or purchased from us.
